Come and join us at the Rose & Crown in Ramsbottom on Sunday the 27th of June for a night of musical mayhem! We are raising funds for Help the Heroes and Christies. All welcome and it promises to be a cracker !

2010/05/10 - Apologies to Fleetwood Dockers Club:

Apologies go to the folks at Fleetwood Dockers Club. On Friday the 7th of May, Funkystuff were due to make an appearance. Unfortunately due to both our cars breaking down, we didn't make it and we had to cancel at the last minute. This is the first time we've had to cancel a gig in this manner and so we send our apologies. We hope to have the gig re-arranged soon!

2010/04/26 - Back at the Stags Head in Goosnargh:

We're back at the Stags Head in Goosnargh, Preston on Friday the 30th April. This was a great gig last time and we expect it to be just as good as the pub is launching their beer festival! The food is fantastic and we'll be eating before the gig. If you want to sample the food, you'll need to book - last time all tables were taken ! See you there...

Happy birthday to Clare who celebrated her 60th Birthday on Saturday. Funkystuff provided the entertainment as they did four years ago at Clare's daughter's wedding. It was a pleasure to see everybody again and be involved in the celebrations!

2010/03/05 - New double header gig:

On Sunday the 11th of April, Funkystuff are doing a double header, with an afternoon gig in Preston followed by an evening trip to Bacup. First up is a St Gerards Social club in Lostock Hall - Preston, with an afternoon of entertainment including a comedian! (we're providing the music and not the comedy...although...). After a spot of tea, we're off to Bacup to introduce our Funkystuff brand of Soul and Disco to the folk at the Duke of Buccleugh!

We've been adding some new songs to our soul catlog ! The new songs include: The old heart of mine - Isley Brothers, Stand by me - Ben E King and Nowhere to run to - Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. We hope to be performing these new songs for you soon !

2009/10/21 - £1,040 raised at Ramfest 2009

Thank you to all those people who came along to the Ramfest event at Ramsbottom Civic Hall on Saturday the 17th of October. The event raised a magnificent £1,040 for Derian House Children's Hospice. Excellent night - thank you !!

Who are Funkystuff?
The band is a sophisticated and exciting Lancashire-based hi-tech live music band that mixes live vocals, guitars and keyboards with its own studio-recorded backing tracks to produce the full 'band' sound.
Funkystuff performs a wide range of music with a strong focus on up-tempo '70s & '80s disco tunes that are sure to get everyone on the dance floor. We can also perform a Swing Band/Ratpack set, a tribute to the Police and an Australian set !We play professional DJ Mix party music CD compilations during breaks to ensure continuous musical entertainment and a great party atmosphere.
